World Cup: Brazil’s golden boy Neymar revels in Cameroon display.
-Brazil prodigy, Neymar, has described the Samba Boys’ 4-1 thumping of Cameroon on Monday as their best display of the World Cup so far.
The Barcelona attacker bagged a brace to go top of the scoring charts at the competition with four, and the 22-year-old was delighted with La Selecao’s overall performance against the Indomitable Lions.
He told reporters: “It was our best match not only by the end result but by the way we played on the pitch. We are on the right track. We are progressing.
“Everybody is at the same level and football is becoming harder and harder. We are going to face a very strong opponent in the next match.”
The hosts finished top of Group A, but face a tough opponent in the last 16, in South America rivals, Chile.
