UHURU/ RUTO’s Government resolves to target RADICAL MUSLIM CLERICS to curb terrorism – they will be exterminated – blacklists 3 MOSQUES
Thursday February 27, 2014 – The Government of President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy, William Ruto, has resolved to target radical Muslim clerics and those advocating and financing radicalization of Muslim youth as a measure to end terrorism in Kenya.
In a meeting chaired by President Uhuru Kenyatta at State House on Tuesday, the country’s top security organ, the National Security Council (NSC), approved a raft of measures to curb terrorism and enhance security within Kenya and its borders.
NSC resolved to implement counter radicalization strategy developed by the State and which will include exterminating radical Muslim clerics and those who support terrorism.
Uhuru/ Ruto’s Government also resolved to engage youths in gainful employment as a way of preventing them from joining the Al-Shabaab which will only lead them to their early graves.
The Government blacklisted Masjid Mussa and Sakina Mosques in Mombasa, and Pumwani Riyadh Mosque in Majengo, Nairobi, as centres for radicalization and recruitment grounds for Al-Shabaab and warned people to avoid them for their own good.
