UHURU/ RUTO favour their people when in problems – RAILA ODINGA’s CORD says so
– Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga’s Coalition for Reforms and Democracy (CORD) has accused President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy, William Ruto, of applying double standards in responding to disasters facing poor Kenyans in different parts of the country.
Addressing the press on Tuesday, CORD leaders led by Bungoma Senator Moses Wetangula accused the President and his Deputy of keeping mum as poor Kenyans of Somali origin continue to die in North Eastern while they responded almost immediately when Kikuyus were being massacred in Mpeketoni recently.
Wetangula called on Uhuru/Ruto to intervene and save Aden Duale’s people, saying despite their differences in political ideologies, no one should die when a Government is in place.
This comes despite Duale going round accusing former Prime Minister Raila Odinga and the opposition of being behind the recent Mpeketoni massacre where over 70 innocent people were murdered in cold blood.
Duale has since remained quiet waiting on Uhuru/ Ruto to arrest the situation in North Eastern like they did in Mpeketoni, Lamu County.
