Job Title: Telecommunications Operations Manager

Salary: Kshs 140-160k
Our client supplies, maintains & supports multivendor telecom network hardware for clients in over 70 countries through partnerships with industry leading equipment vendors and carriers to reduce costs and drive efficiency in network asset tracking, re- use and maintenance.
They seek to hire a well experienced individual to fill in the role of an Operations Manager.
 

 
Main Duties & Responsibilities
 
Operations Management
  • Complete adherence to all contractual SLAs
  • Overall process adherence
  • Overall quarterly KPI review and goal setting
  • Annual review of processes and procedures to confirm applicability
Sales and sales support
  • Alignment and support of key account managers
Production Planning & Projects / Distribution & Warehouse
  • Efficient Sales to revenue conversion
  • Manage delivery meeting set
  • Management of Inventory accuracy
Vendor Management & Customer Service
  • Manage open communication channels
  • Manage Vendor operational expectations
  • Manage Vendor operational expectations
  • Monthly Customer Satisfaction Survey
  • Understand and enhance customer experience
  • Manage customer expectations
  • Regular customer engagement
Reporting & Staff Development
  • Reporting Adherence to Matrix/Dashboard
  • Maintain Risk Register
  • Adherence to external reporting matrix
  • Integration of teams
  • Cross-skilling for redundancy
  • Ongoing motivation of team to attain maximum effectiveness
  • Ongoing review of resources to upgrade base-line skill levels
  • Management of Inventory accuracy
Desired Skills & Qualifications
  • A degree in an IT related field
  • At least 3-5 years experience in managing equipment for a telecommunication company
  • Should have prior experience in Managing people
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Conversant with telecommunication warehouse ERPs
  • Quick to learn
  • Have an in-depth understanding of telecommunication warehouse processes.
