RAILA ODINGA once again tells UHURU/ RUTO he does not fear jail, ask Arap MOI
Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga has once again maintained that CORD Coalition will not be cowed or threatened by the Government of President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy, William Ruto.
Addressing a mammoth crowd at the infamous Muliro Gardens in Kakamega during CORD’s consultative meeting, Raila Odinga told residents that he does not fear jail and neither is he afraid of Uhuru and Ruto.
He said he was born for jail and challenged Uhuru/ Ruto to ask retired President Daniel Arap Moi, because he tried to silence him with jail but he failed and that they are not Moi’s equals.
This after Uhuru/ Ruto’s Government summoned 10 CORD legislators to record a statement over hate speech and incitement.
At the same time, the former PM refuted claims that he is on a mission to shave Uhuru/ Ruto without water, saying he is not a barber and that even if he were, his Luo culture does not allow baba to shave kids (Uhuru/Ruto).
“Wanatutisha na Kushikwa. Hatuogopi, Waulize Nyayo. Ati Raila anataka kunyoa Rais, mimi sio kinyozi! (They threaten to arrest us, we are not afraid, let them ask Moi. They say I want to shave Uhuru dry, I am not a barber),” said Raila.
