NAMWAMBA breaks ranks with RAILA ODINGA on Saba Saba and calls it NONSENSE
– Budalangi MP, Ababu Namwamba, has broken ranks with former Prime Minister, Raila Odinga, over the planned countrywide rallies convened by the opposition.
Speaking in Kipkelion Constituency on Sunday, Namwamba, who is still vying for Secretary General position in Orange Democratic Movement (ODM), questioned the real objective of the countywide rallies saying they lack a clear agenda.
Although he supported the issue of national dialogue, Namwamba said time has come for the opposition to keep the Government in check without deviating its course.
He said Saba Saba rallies might cause chaos and ethnic tension around the country and CORD leaders should be ready to take responsibly of their actions.
Namwamba also urged Jubilee and CORD MPs to refuse to be used by their bosses to achieve their selfish agenda.
“We should refuse to be used as pawns in a game of roulette,” Namwamba said.
Meanwhile, Namwamba and Kakamega Senator, Boni Khalwale were conspicuously missing at CORD rallies in Ntulele and Eldoret raising questions of their commitment to the Saba Saba cause
