Nairobi Listed Among Top 10 Emerging Cities To Watch In The World & Best In Africa.
Despite the 2008 post election violence that rocked Kenya and subsequently landed President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy, William Ruto, at The Hague to face murder and rape charges, which has put Kenya on the spot globally for wrong reasons, Nairobi has still been ranked among the top ten emerging cities to watch in the world.
This is according to the Chicago-based Real Estate Management Firm, Jones Lang Lasalle.
The ranking, which is based on an aggregation of 150 global city indices, referred to Nairobi as a more stable environment for doing business compared to Lagos (Nigeria), Cairo (Egypt) and Addis Ababa (Ethiopia).

Nairobi is now one of Africa’s leading outsourcing centres based on its ability to attract talent and its resilience.
However, Johannesburg and Cape Town remained Africa’s most competitive cities.
