KITUI MP busted with illegal drugs at his Kileleshwa home
Friday, November 29, 2013 – Kitui Rural MP, Charles Mutisya Nyamai, has neither denied nor confirmed the allegations that police uprooted about 5 sacks of bhang which was growing freely at his home in Kileleshwa.
Police are said to have received a tip off from an insider who admitted that the bhang had been growing at the legislator’s garden. Police ambushed the legislator’s home while he was away and uprooted the plants.
According to Kilimani OCPD, Peter Katam, the samples have already been taken to the Government Chemist for investigations. Nyamai was also arrested and wrote a statement concerning the same.
