KIKUYU YOUTHS laud UHURU/ RUTO for appointing retired FRANCIS MUTHAURA and tell RAILA ODINGA to wait for 20 years
Monday December 30, 2013 – A section of youth from Kiambu and Muranga Counties have lauded President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy, William Ruto, for appointing former Head of Civil Service ambassador, Francis Muthaura, as the chairman of LAPPSET.
Addressing a joint Press Conference in Nairobi on Sunday, the youths who are mainly professionals residing in Nairobi said Uhuru and Ruto made a good move in appointing Francis Muthaura.
“We are happy with Uhuru and Ruto for including Muthaura in their Government. Blending generational leadership and old leadership is the order of the world,” groups spokesman, Ndirangu Njoroge, said.
“We want a mixture of youth and old guards in the Government. Even US President Barrack Obama uses old advisers in his Government,” Njoroge said.
They urged those criticizing the Jubilee Government to wait for another 20 years to appoint their cronies saying Uhuru and Ruto are the leaders and they must do what they want.
“Raila and his cronies must wait for another 20 years, so that they can appoint whoever they like. We are happy with what the President and his Deputy are doing,” the leaders said.
