KIDERO, ORENGO and MUTHAMA spotted at State House with UHURU KENYATTA – To form a party to challenge RAILA ODINGA in 2017
Wednesday February 27, 2014 – Narobi Governor, Dr Evans Kidero, Siaya Senator, James Orengo and his Machakos counterpart, Johnstone Muthama, were over the weekend spotted at State House, Nairobi, with President Uhuru Kenyatta.
According to our moles privy to State House operations, the three Coalition for Reforms and Democracy (CORD) leaders met secretly with Uhuru Kenyatta and details of their meeting were not divulged to public.
The four were spotted chatting in a jovial mood and sources said they were planning on how to form another party to challenge former Prime Minister, Raila Odinga, in Luo Nyanza.
An ODM insider who spoke with our team said Orengo, Kidero and Muthama are not happy with how former PM is handling the coalition’s affairs.
The three leaders have severally accused Raila of imposing his favourite leaders in the party leadership against the will of democracy.
The three are believed to be hatching a plan of starting their own party where they will recruit members in preparation for 2017’s General Election.
