ICC WITNESS 409 asked MILLIONS of shilling from ICC in order to testify against WILLIAM RUTO – We REVEAL where in Kenya he comes from
Friday February 28, 2014 – The 12thInternational Criminal Court (ICC) witness who is testifying in cases facing Deputy President, William Ruto, and his co- accused, Joshua Sang, demanded million of shillings in order for him to testify in Ruto’s case.
This was revealed by Ruto’s lead lawyer, Karim Khan, who told the Trial Chamber V (a) judges that witness 409 had decided to apply for enrolment as a victim of the December 2007 post-election violence after learning that he could make money out of the cases.
Khan said the witness filled the application forms with the ICC after hearing that six Kenyans had been identified by the then Prosecutor Louis Moreno Ocampo and after being assured that he could get money if he (Ruto) was jailed.
“You heard there was a probability of getting money. You wanted money as a result of your evidence, didn’t you?” posed Khan during cross examination.
“You were told that if Ruto is convicted, you would get money.”
The witness, who we have identified is from Kisumu County, however denied the claims.
We will soon release his name …….
