I don’t want to hear or see anyone touch Aladwa – RAILA ODINGA warns UHURU/ RUTO
Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga has put the Government of President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy, William Ruto, on notice regarding the alleged hate speech and incitement by Nairobi ODM Chairman, George Aladwa.
Addressing a mammoth crowd who turned up at a CORD rally in Nairobi’s Kibera Slums, Raila warned Uhuru and Ruto never to mess with Aladwa again because he means a lot to ODM and that he will not allow anyone to intimidate him let alone talk about him in bad faith.
He said the Jubilee Government has crossed the ‘Orange’ line and should stop at once before things get worse.
“I don’t want to see or hear Uhuru/ Ruto’s Jubilee “bring nyef nyef” (Direct Translation) on Aladwa; let me not hear them touch him again because he is the ODM Chairman in Nairobi and no one messes with ODM,” said Raila as he warned Uhuru/ Ruto.
Raila was reacting to Aladwa’s arrest over hate speech last week where he threatened to swear in the former PM as President on Saba Saba.
The former PM has maintained that CORD will not be cowed by threats of arrest by Jubilee.
